			<title>Condolence From Jennifer</title>

			<description><![CDATA[When our grandfather died 7 years ago, I was asked to say a few words at his funeral mass....but I couldn't.  For me. losing either of my grandparents was just too unbearable.  Well I know I am now older- and I hope wiser and more mature.....

Thirteen months ago, the doctors had told us our grandmother would not make it through the weekend and thirteen days ago, she celebrated her 95th Birthday.  The love of her family carried my grandmother through these last few years without my grandfather.  She was so proud of each of her grandchildren, Lee, Matthew, Greg, Grant and Alexis.  She watched as each achieved their own milestones- and against all odds- she made it to my wedding last July.

Grandma also got great joy in knowing her great granddaughter, Reed, and her great granddaugther, Felicity, and let's not forget- Bodi- or as she would call him- the big dog!  And she loved her extended family, Nicole, Peter and Lillian.

I will miss my grandmother every day- our visits and our chats.  I will miss her apple pie - and while I tried to learn- I never did get the shovel and the shisel part.  I will miss her telling me "my roots are dark" and of course her famous slippers- she could never make enough of those slippers. 

I was truly blessed to have grown up with our wonderful grandmother.  She was generous of heart.  Her spirit will always be alive.  And she is now finally at peace with grandpa- her one true love of almost 70 years.  An angel will be watching over us always.

			<title>Condolence From Walter Vogl</title>

			<description><![CDATA[We are sad to not have Mom with us any longer, but are happy that she has achieved the goal that we all strive for - that is - being with god in heaven.

We are sure that - right now - she is very happy to be reunited with Dad.  They had a love and devotion for each other that cannot be described in words.  For the past 7 and a half years, Mom missed Dad and wanted to be with him.

During her life, Mom never asked for anything special.  Nothing was ever too much or too hard.  She just wanted the family to be healthy, to work hard, and to accept what happens.  Mom never complained.

Mom was a great cook.  Everyone loved her food.  Her recipes were unique.  She never used measuring cups.  She would use a "shovel" of this or a handful of that.  We have been trying to duplicate some of Mom's recipes, but the "shovel" is giving us a problem.  But that's okay - it is fun trying to make the different cakes and desserts to taste just like Mom's.

Mom was able to sew anything, crocheted/knitted beautiful sweaters, made doilies, and, of course, made slippers using leftover yarn. We have kept all the sweaters she knitted for the grandchildren over the years and hope they can be used again as a special remembrance.  Handmade things are hard to find these days.

Right now Mom is having a great time seeing all of our relatives (aunts and uncles who passed away years ago).

Mom, you will be missed by everyone and may God keep you with Him in heaven.
